I'll dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
